Connors and Kenneally injury concerns for Munster opener

Tipperary GAA have provided an injury update over Willie Connors and Sean Kenneally as the countdown to the start of the Munster Senior Hurling Championship continues.

Versatile defender and midfielder Willie Connors picked up an undisclosed injury in training but the Kiladangan clubman “is progressing well in his recovery and is expected to be available for selection,” a statement said ahead of the opening round clash with Cork on Sunday, April 19th.

However, that match will come too soon for attacker Sean Kenneally who sustained a knee injury in the closing minutes of the final National League game against Kilkenny last month but the Moneygall clubman not expected to recover in time for the Cork game with the round 2 clash away to Waterford on Sunday, April 26th the target.
