Tipp Minor Hurling panel announced
Tipperary minor hurling manager James Woodlock has announced a 36 player panel for the upcoming championship.
It contains seven survivors from the 2025 panel for the Munster Championship which starts against Clare on Friday, 3rd April in FBD Semple Stadium at 7.00pm. Tipp have a bye in round 2 before hosting Cork on Friday, 17th April in FBD Semple Stadium at 7.00pm. Tipp travel to the TUS Gaelic Grounds, Limerick for round 4 on Friday, 1st May at 7.00pm before wrapping up their round-robin campaign against Waterford on Friday, 8th May in Dungarvan at 7.00pm.
The format remains unchanged with the top two teams progressing to the Munster Final with the third and fourth placed teams entering the All-Ireland Series at the preliminary quarter final stage.
This will be James Woodlock’s sixth year as minor manager in which he has won two All-Ireland titles in 2022 and 2024. For the coming year there is one change to the management team with former All-Ireland winning defender Conor O’Brien stepping away and has been replaced by Dinny Ferncombe.
