Tipp underage teams learn their Munster schedules

The fixtures for the 2026 Munster GAA Under 20 and Minor Hurling & Football Championship fixtures have been confirmed.
In the Fulfil Munster Under 20 Hurling Championship, defending Munster and All-Ireland champions Tipperary will begin their campaign at home to Cork on Wednesday, March 25th.
The following Wednesday, Tipp will travel to Waterford in round 2 before they have a bye in round 3. Tipp return to action with a home game against Clare on Wednesday, April 22nd before finishing away to Limerick the following week.
The format remains the same with the top team at the end of the round-robin phase going into the Munster Final, which is pencilled in for Wednesday, May 13th where they will be joined by the semi-final winners between the second & third placed teams.
The All-Ireland Final between the Munster & Leinster champions is scheduled for the June Bank Holiday weekend.
The Dalata Hotel Group Munster Under 20 Football Championship will kickstart the inter-county championship season with Phase 1 games taking place on the last three Saturdays in March (14th, 21st & 28th).
Tipperary will start away to Clare, at home to Limerick before finishing away to Waterford with the top two teams progressing to phase 2. The two teams that don’t progress from phase 1 will meet in a ‘B’ final with the winner progressing to an All-Ireland semi-final.
Defending champions Kerry will play their opening game away to the 2nd place Phase 1 team on Thursday, April 9th with Cork also entering the competition against the Phase 1 winner. The Munster Final will take place on Thursday, April 30th with the All-Ireland final in mid May.
Minor
The Electric Ireland Munster Minor Hurling Championship will get underway on Friday, April 3rd with Tipperary hosting Clare.
Tipp have their bye in round 2 when defending Munster champions Cork enter the fray on Friday, April 10th with a trip to take on the defending All-Ireland champions Waterford.
James Woodlock’s charges return to action on Friday, April 17th at home to Cork before travelling to Limerick in round 4 on May Day. Tipperary’s round-robin campaign concludes away to Waterford on May 8th.
The top two teams will progress to the Munster Final on Friday, May 15th, while the third & fourth placed teams will progress to the All-Ireland preliminary quarter finals against losing semi-finals in Leinster. The All-Ireland Final is scheduled for the last weekend in June.
The Electric Ireland Munster Minor Football Championship begins on Monday, March 30th as Clare host Waterford while Limerick travel to play Tipperary in the first round of Phase 1. Tipp travel to Waterford in the second round the following Easter Monday before concluding away to Clare on April 13th.
The format will change this season and will adopt the same system as the Munster Under 20 Championship with the introduction of a Phase 2 Round-Robin involving Kerry, Cork and the top two teams from Phase 1. As defending champions, Kerry will open their campaign away to the winner in Phase 1 on Monday, April 27th.
The Munster Final is planned for Monday, May 18th with both finalists progressing to the All-Ireland quarter finals with the All-Ireland Final schedule for the first weekend in July.
The remaining teams entering the phase 2 & 3 All-Ireland series which will be completed by the end of May.
