Tipp schools kept apart in Harty Cup quarter final draw

The draw has been made for the knockout stages of the Dr Harty Cup which will take place in the New Year.

Holders Thurles CBS have been paired with De La Salle of Waterford and on the same side of the draw, Nenagh CBS go up against Midleton CBS, which creates the possibility of an all-Tipperary semi-final.

Our Lady’s Secondary School, Templemore have a tough draw against St. Flannan’s of Ennis with the winners playing St Joseph’s Secondary School, Tulla or Blackwater Community School, Lismore in the semi-final.

The quarter finals will be played on Wednesday, January 7th with the semi-finals on Saturday, January 17th.

In the Corn Ui Mhuiri – Senior ‘A’ Football quarter finals on January 14th, High School Clonmel have been drawn against Clonakilty Community College, and should they be successful they will Presentation SS Milltown or St Patrick’s Castleisland in the semi-final. Tralee CBS v St Brendan’s College Killarney and St Francis’ College, Rochestown v IS Killorglin are on the other side of the draw.
