Shannon Rovers and Burgess GAA Clubs will have a vested interest in two of this weekend’s AIB Munster Club Hurling Championship Finals.

Alan Tierney from the Shannon Rovers club will take charge of the Senior Hurling Championship Final at FBD Semple Stadium Thurles at 3.00pm on Sunday, November 30th, between Waterford’s Ballygunner and Eire Og of Ennis.

Alan has previously been the man in charge for the 2023 Munster Minor Hurling Final (Cork v Clare) and the 2024 Munster Club Junior Hurling Final (Russell Rovers v Kilrossanty) as well as the recent Munster Club Senior Hurling semi-final between Ballygunner and Sarsfields.

Burgess clubman Ciaran O’Donovan will referee the Munster Club Junior Hurling Championship Final in Mallow at 1.00pm on Saturday, November 29th between Kilbrittain of Cork and Waterford’s Kilrossanty.

This will be the second provincial final for O’Donovan in 2025 following his appointment for the Munster Minor Hurling Final last May between Cork and Waterford.

The Intermediate Final involving Tipperary champions Upperchurch/Drombane and O’Callaghan’s Mills (Clare) on Saturday evening in Limerick will be refereed by Nicky O’Toole of Waterford. This will be O’Toole’s second provincial club final as in 2023 he was the man-in-the-middle for the junior decider between St Catherine’s and Feenagh/Kilmeedy.
