3 Tipperary moments nominated for AIB's November Moments of the Championship

AIB Bank has officially launch their new 'Moments of the Championship' campaign on their Instagram and WhatsApp channels.

This initiative is all about celebrating the true spirit of Gaelic Games - those unforgettable instances of support, inclusion, and belonging that truly define our clubs and communities, both on and off the pitch.

At AIB, we believe in supporting communities and customers in the ‘moments that matter to them, and we want to extend that same recognition to the incredible people within our GAA clubs who do the same.

This campaign is dedicated to shining a light on those often unsung heroes, players, coaches, and supporters - whose acts of selflessness and camaraderie make our Gaelic Games so special. Each month, we'll be highlighting a selection of these inspiring moments for the wider Gaelic Games community to vote on, with a monthly winner being crowned, before culminating in an overall ”Moment of the Championship” award at the AIB Club Player Awards next year.

This month, three Tipperary moments have been nominated:

1.Loughmore/Castleiney - 7 McGraths take to the field for the Tipperary Hurling Final.

2.Clonmel Commercials - Digital scoreboard failure results in John Landers and Paul Lucey to revert to manual!

3.Shane Ryan's Courageous display to help Clonmel reach a Tipperary SFC title.

AIB would like for the entire Community to get involved. These moments embody the very best of Gaelic Games, and we need you to encourage your community to rally the votes! The winner with the most votes across the four codes will be invited to the AIB Club Player Awards 2026, where they will be shortlisted for AIB Moment of the Championship.

Voting is simple and can be done here via AIB GAA’s WhatsApp Channel: https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Vay39CV2ZjCo7oS9Nc2C
