Road death in North Tipp
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred in Birdhill, Tipperary in the early hours of this morning Sunday, November 9.
The sole occupant of the car, a man in his 40s, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The coroner was notified and the deceased has been removed to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick, where a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were traveling on the R445 at Birdhill, Tipperary between 10pm on the night of Saturday, November 8, and 8am this morning Sunday, November 9, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
