Tom Wachman Honoured with the 2025 Longines FEI Rising Star Award

The Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) and Longines have announced Tom Wachman as the winner of the 2025 Longines FEI Rising Star Award.

This prestigious accolade celebrates exceptional young equestrian athletes whose dedication, talent, and sportsmanship mark them as future champions of the sport.

At just 20 years of age, Bansha native Tom Wachman has already distinguished himself as one of the most promising riders on the international circuit.

His remarkable composure in competition, technical precision, and deep connection with his horses have earned him admiration from peers and fans alike.

Speaking from the FEI Awards, Horse Sport Ireland Chief Executive Denis Duggan said “On behalf of the everyone in Horse Sport Ireland and Irish equestrianism, we express a massive congratulations to Tom Wachman on his FEI Rising Star Award tonight.
