Business group's Pre-Budget Lobbying Day
Tipperary Chamber puts business priorities on the national agenda at Pre-Budget Lobbying Day
County Tipperary Chamber CEO Michelle Aylward and Chamber President Sarah Fogarty represented the Chamber’s members at the Chambers Ireland Pre-Budget Lobbying Day, held in Dublin on Wednesday, September 24.
The event brought affiliated Chambers from across Ireland together with TDs and Government Ministers, providing a vital opportunity to ensure the voice of enterprise in Tipperary was heard directly at the heart of Government ahead of Budget 2026.
Speaking after the event, CEO Michelle Aylward said: “Lobbying is a core part of what we do as a Chamber. Yesterday we represented our members by bringing forward the real issues facing businesses in Tipperary housing and infrastructure, energy security, support for SMEs, skills and training, and stronger towns and communities. These are the day-to-day challenges for our members, and it was important they were heard at national level.”
President Sarah Fogarty added: “We were proud to stand alongside our colleagues from across the Chamber network, but above all, to highlight the specific priorities of Tipperary. Our role is to make sure local enterprise has a strong and clear voice with Government.”
County Tipperary Chamber will continue to lobby on behalf of its members in the run-up to Budget 2026, ensuring that the needs of Tipperary businesses remain firmly on the agenda.
