Sheep kill in Cloughjordan

Gardaí have issued another warning to dog owners after sheep were attacked in the Cloughjordan area last Monday.

It is believed that at least one sheep was killed in the attack. A Tipperary Co Council dog warden attended the scene.

Gardaí are reminding dog owners that they are responsible for their pets and need to know where their dog is at all times.

Meanwhile, gardaí are seeking witness information after a car was broken into in Nenagh’s Coille Bheithe estate last Saturday week. A number of items were taken from the vehicle in the early hours of the morning. CCTV footage is being examined, and gardaí are urging motorists not to leave valuables in their cars.

In Borrisokane, a number of windows were broken in a housing estate in the early hours of Tuesday last. Witness information is again sought.

Elsewhere, three motorists were arrested on suspicion of drink driving over the weekend, two in Nenagh and one in Roscrea.
