PREMIER DIVISION

Ballynanty Rovers 4-2 Nenagh AFC

Despite taking the lead twice in the opening half, Nenagh AFC left the impressive Ballynanty Park pointless after the home side came back to win 4-2 on Thursday.

The visitors opened the scoring midway through the opening half; a good run and shot by Dylan Morrison saw his effort blocked on the line but Adam Ryan pounced to tuck away the rebound.

Balla equalised five minutes later through Vinny Ryan but Nenagh bounced back to regain the lead before the break, Bryan McGee heading in powerfully from Ryan’s corner kick.

Balla upped their performance after the break and ran in goals from Kane Connolly, Conor Keane and Ryan with his second to seal the win.

Nenagh pulled one back through Daniel Connolly following good work by Dylan Morrison.

Shane Dillon restored ‘Dines two goal lead and Dines keeper Jason Mullins made a fine save from a penalty kick to deny Saeed Ryan.

Just before the end, Tony Mambuana completed the scoring late on.

In Division 2A; goals from Matthew Rice, Charlie Grace, Sean Fahy, Cian McAuley, Cian O'Donoghue, Tom O'Connor and Jack Grace saw Lough Derg ease past Cappamore ‘B’ on Thursday but they were unable to follow up on Sunday as they fell 3-0 to Brazuca in a top of the table clash.
