Tipp Camogie and Ladies Football seeking applications for senior manager roles

Following the decisions by Denis Kelly and Ed Burke to step down as Tipperary Senior Camogie and Ladies Football managers respectively, both county boards are inviting applications for the role for the 2026 season.
Camogie
Tipperary Camogie Board have issued a set of “essential requirements” which they hope will take the senior team to the next level and content for the All-Ireland title.
They include that the prospective candidate as demonstrated management experience at inter-county or equivalent elite level.
They are also seeing a clearly defined and committed management and backroom support team. A detailed Player Development Plan (PDP) outlining their approach to improving players and overall team performance is also being sought as part of their application, as well as a clear vision for how they will progress and enhance the performance of the Tipperary Senior panel.
The successful candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with players, support staff, and the County Board.
Applications, including CV, proposed management and backroom team and a PDP outline, should be submitted via email to secretary.tipperary@camogie.ie no later than next Saturday, 30th August.
Ladies Football
In terms of the senior ladies’ football role, Tipperary LGFA’s essential requirements are broadly similar to their camogie counterparts with applications, including CV, proposed management and backroom team to be submitted via email to secretary.tipperary@lgfa.ie no later than Thursday, 4th September.
