Stolen boat recovered

One local boat owner was relieved last week after being informed that his recently stolen boat had been recovered in north Kerry by gardaí.

Gardaí in Newport, Tipperary, had been investigating the theft of the boat the previous Saturday night. Their inquiries led them to Kerry on Tuesday.

With the assistance of colleagues from the detective Unit in Listowel, they worked together to locate the stolen boat.

The investigation is ongoing. The gardaí would like to thank the members of the public for their assistance in this investigation.
