Arrest made over man's death in Tipp

Gardaí are continuing to investigate all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a man’s body in Carrick-On-Suir, Co Tipperary, on Monday, August 4.

This morning, Wednesday (August 20), Gardaí arrested an adult male, aged in his late teens, in relation to this investigation.

The male is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda Station in the Clare-Tipperary Division.

Investigations are ongoing.
