Drug hauls in Nenagh and Roscrea

There were some significant drugs hauls in Nenagh and Roscrea earlier in the month.

On August 1, members of the Divisional Drugs Unit and local unit seized suspected cannabis with a street value of €12,000 and suspected cocaine with a value of €25,000 in Nenagh.

Then on Friday week last a quantity of suspected ecstasy worth €400 was seized following the arrest of a male in Kickham Street in the town. A file is currently being prepared for the DPP.

In Roscrea, gardaí seized €1,000 worth of cannabis on Monday last. A male was arrested and a file is being prepared for DPP in this case also.

Gardaí are also seeking information on an incident where a bottle was thrown through the window of a car in Dromineer on Sunday, August 3.
