The athletics community and wider Borrisokane community came together once again on August 3rd last to celebrate inclusiveness and diversity in our sport.
Cillian Dunne led the way to the finish line winning the wheelchair race. The para-athletes from Borrisokane showed up in force with Paul Maher winning the Para 5k, Kate Leenane in second and Shannon O'Farrell Molloy in third.
Winner of the Men’s race was Tom Lupton of Ballyskenach AC with Joan Stakelum, Thurles Crokes winning the ladies event. There was also had a 1k children’s race which saw Bella Curling from Dundrum AC retain her title in the girls’ event and the boys’ event was won by local teen Liam White.
