Borrisokane Breeder enjoys Dublin Horse Show success
Borrisokane was represented with great distinction at the recent Dublin Horse Show as breeder Dermot Murphy was joined on the hallowed turf of the RDS main arena by Horse Sport Ireland (HSI) Chief Executive and fellow local Denis Duggan.
Dermot's home bred, Gaulross Cornerado, now owned by another Borrisokane man, Willie O'Dea, placed in the 5-year-old 'Flexible' National Championship final, funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, and delivered by HSI, having been ridden into fourth place by Toomevara native Liam O'Meara.
O'Meara and Gaulross Cornerado were one of just four pairings to jump two perfect clear rounds, marking an incredible achievement for the Borrisokane breeder.
