Wonderful weekend of winners for Borrisokane Athletic Club

Jack Tierney, in his first cap with Ireland, represented his club and school with pride at the SIAB Track & Field 2025 in Derby, England last weekend.

In a tough competition, the Borrisokane Community College student Jack finished fourth in the Hammer in what is his first international.

Meanwhile, at the Irish Para Championships in Morton Stadium, Santry, Borrisokane Athletic Club won 8 national titles.

Paul Maher won two gold and a silver with Roisin Maher winning a gold, silver, and bronze. Cillian Dunne, T54 Wheelchair Racer dominated on the track winning 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m & 1500m. A great showing all round by a great group of athletes.
