Nenagh Golf Club plan appealed

A plan to install a water storage tank at Nenagh Golf Club has been appealed to An Coimisiún Pleanála

The club recently received conditional planning permission from Tipperary Co Council for a water tank with a concrete base adjacent to an existing maintenance yard, along with private well, pumphouse and all ancillary site works.

The council's decision has been appealed by David Reddan of Beechwood, Nenagh, who previously appealed a plan by the club to provide a practice area. The plan was permitted by An Bord Pleanála, after which Mr Reddan sought judicial review in the High Court. Judge David Nolan dismissed the challenge earlier this year.

An Coimisiún Pleanála is to decide on the new case involving the water storage tank by October 14 next.
