Something for everyone at Ballingarry Market
Anybody who has visited Ballingarry for what has become one of the local highlights of the summer calendar will recognise the uniqueness of the venue.
A beautiful picnic area in the village provides the perfect setting for people to browse the stalls, chat with neighbours and friends or simply to sit and enjoy a coffee amongst the trees and wildflowers.
On July 27, Ballingarry Community Initiative will host their sixth market, and this one promises to be bigger and better than ever with 40 vendors confirmed for the day. There will be something for everybody with a wide variety of local producers which will include delicious home baking, fresh local preserves, confectionary, arts and crafts, ice cream and locally produced honey and flowers. Lunch time can also be catered for with a variety of hot food stalls, coffee docks and a creperie.
This year also sees the arrival of well-known caricature artist Mark Henn, who will be available to turn your personality into a masterpiece or bring your kids to life in cartoon form! Cloughjordan Circus Club are returning to provide colourful and exciting entertainment for those in attendance.
To keep the smallies happy, there will be face painters in the organisers tent and Cloughjordan FC will be in attendance to test the skills of both young and old.
