Retirements at Templemore Garda College
Two stalwarts of the Garda College have retired in recent weeks and the community of Templemore wish them every success.
Buddy Guerins and Carmel Lynagh have both given 46 years service to the state and we wish them every success in their well-earned retirement.
Carmel’s remarkable career included time in Dublin, Templemore Garda Station, and an extraordinary 30 years at the Garda College, where she made a lasting impact on generations of college staff and gardaí. Her unwavering commitment, professionalism and kindness have left a mark on everyone fortunate enough to work with her. Wishing you all the very best in this next chapter, Carmel. May it be filled with health, happiness, and well-deserved relaxation.
Buddy Guerin was instrumental in keeping the college looking its best, often hailed as our ‘Michelangelo’ for his incredible painting skills. We also wish him and his family all the very best in his well-earned retirement.
