Ballina bridge trial pedestrianisation
July 28 is fast approaching, bringing with it the commencement of the trial pedestrianisation of our old Killaloe-Ballina bridge. From that date, and running until Friday, October 17, access onto the bridge by vehicles will be prohibited to facilitate the safe use of the bridge by pedestrians and cyclists.
Drawings and details of the trial, traffic calming measures are available for inspection from July 18 on www.tipperarycoco.ie ; www.clarecoco.ie; Nenagh Municipal District Office, Civic Offices, Nenagh; Killaloe Municipal District Office, Mountshannon Road, Scariff, during normal office hours, Monday to Friday, until Friday, October 3. Submissions, clearly marked ‘Section 38 Trial Ballina-Killaloe Bridge’ or ‘Section 38 Trial Old Killaloe Bridge’, can be made at any time during the trial period up until 4.30pm on Friday, October 3.
