Funding for flood mitigation works in Tipp

The Office of Public Works (OPW) has announced the approval of Tipperary County Council’s application for funding under the Office of Public Works’ Minor Flood Mitigation Works and Coastal Protection Scheme.

Under the scheme, the OPW has approved additional funding of €27,000 for planned works at Marfield Village, County Tipperary, which include the removal of the top section of the collapsing wall, associated works and disposal of removed items.

This additional funding approval brings the total funding to date to €72,000.
