Good news for Terryglass
Tipperary Co Council is to spend €27,000 on improving the road in the village of Terryglass this year.
District Engineer Barry Murphy told the May meeting of the council's Nenagh Municipal District that the Ballinderry approach to the village would also be tackled. Mr Murphy made the point that Terryglass in participating the international horticultural competition Entente Florale 2025. The council wants to help "put the best foot forward for Terryglass", he said.
Cllr Michael O'Meara said there is a tendancy for motorists to speed on the Ballinderry side of the village. He asked the council to look at ways of slowing traffic down.
