The Silver Stage - a three-day music experience for teens - is coming to Nenagh.
There will be performances on Thursday, June 12 from 11am-2pm, Friday, June 13 from 11am-2pm and Saturday, June 14, from 11am-2pm (plus a performance at 3pm). Create. Perform. Shine.
Nenagh Arts Centre and Music Generation invite you to unleash your sound this summer at The Silver Stage - a three-day creative takeover for young music-makers of all kinds. This entirely free event will take place from Thursday to Saturday, June 12 to 14 and is open to young people aged 12-18. Whether you're a singer, rapper, DJ, producer, instrumentalist, or part of a band, this is your space to create your own music, your way.
No rules. No judgement. Just pure expression. Over three epic days, participants will collaborate with fellow young artists to write, compose, and rehearse original tracks in any style they choose. These young music-makers will have full creative control, with professional musicians on hand to support - not steer - their process.
Each workshop takes place at Nenagh Arts Centre from 11am - 2pm.
Take the stage. Own the moment. The final day, Saturday June 14, ends with a live outdoor showcase at 3pm on Music Generation's iconic Silver Stage - a mobile performance space where participants will share what they’ve created in a high-energy, feel-good concert. The Silver Stage offers 100% creative freedom to the young artists with an emphasis on collaboration instead of competition. We aim to foster an inclusive, supportive, and empowering environment to build confidence and friendships alike. Over the course of three days, we will encourage and give shape to each individual’s unique artistic voice.
This project is a collaboration between Nenagh Arts Centre and Music Generation - bringing together top mentors, a fully-equipped stage, and an open platform for young talent to shine.
