Best of luck to students
Leaving and Junior Cert exams underway
ASTI President Donal Cremin has sent a ‘good luck’ message to the candidates sitting the 2025 Leaving and Junior Cert written exams from this Wednesday.
“I wish all of our Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students the very best of luck. Your teachers are so proud of you for getting this far and are delighted to see you moving towards the next stage of your lives.
“Your job in the weeks ahead is to look after yourself. Exams require a lot of energy. During the exams period make sure to pace yourself, eat well, take plenty of relaxation breaks, plan for plenty of sleep time, and always set aside time to organise yourself for the exam ahead.
“It’s normal to feel some apprehension and it’s important to keep things in perspective. Regardless of the outcome of any one exam, life will present you with many opportunities in the years ahead.”
Mr Cremin said that students beginning their Leaving and Junior Cert exams today have the benefit of a transparent, independent exams process:
“Students can be assured of fairness and transparency and know that they are being treated the same as other candidates.”
