Minor Hurlers aim for positive finish

GAA: Electric Ireland Munster Minor Hurling Championship

CORK v TIPPERARY

Pairc Ui Rinn, Cork

Friday, 2nd May

Throw-in @ 7.00pm

Referee: Eoghan O’Leary (Clare)

The Tipperary Minor Hurlers will aim to end a disappointing Munster Championship campaign on a high when they travel to Cork in the final round of the round robin phase on Friday evening.

The defending Munster and All-Ireland champions cannot progress to the All-Ireland Series as even a win would see them finish bottom behind Limerick on the head-to-head from their round 3 clash.

That Tipperary have lost each of their three games so far by two points, two points, and one point shows just how competitive they have been without getting the rub of the green in terms of positive results.

They play a Cork side that have won three games from three and are already qualified for the Munster Final against the winners of the final group game between Waterford and Clare.
