Junior 'C' Hurling Championship: Group 1 continued last Sunday with Ballina having a comfortable 1-19 to 1-7 victory over Kilruane MacDonaghs whilst Silvermines defeated Nenagh Eire Og on a 1-13 to 0-11 scoreline.
The action continues this weekend. On Saturday 5th October at 4.00pm - Roscrea will host Lorrha in Group 2. The remaining fixtures are fixed for this Sunday, 6th October at 12 noon - Borris-Ileigh host Shannon Rovers in Group 2 whilst Group 1 action sees Ballina host Nenagh Eire Og whilst Ballinahinch host Kilruane MacDonaghs with Silvermines having a bye.
Under 21 Hurling Championships: The draws for the North Under 21 Hurling Championships took place last Wednesday.
Both 'A' & 'B' Championships will consist of two groups with the top two teams in each group progressing to the semi-finals. Round 1 will take place on Sunday, 20th October at 12 noon.
In Group 1 of the 'A' grade, Borris-Ileigh will host Ballina whilst Toomevara will have a bye in Round 1. In Group 2, Silvermines host Kiladangan in Dolla whilst Nenagh Eire Og host Roscrea.
In Group 1 of the 'B' grade, Newport host Moneygall/Clonakenny whilst Borrisokane host Ballinahinch-Templederry. In Group 2, Kilruane MacDonaghs host Burgess whilst Portroe host Lorrha Rovers.
Under 19 'B' Hurling: Congratulations to Kilruane MacDonaghs who claimed the County U19 'B' Hurling title last Saturday after a 1-22 to 1-16 final victory over Arravale Rovers.
Under 17 'B' Hurling: Hard luck to Roscrea who lost to a strong Gortnahoe/Glengoole side last Saturday in the County U17 'B' Hurling Final.
Under 15 Hurling: Best of luck to Newport (A) and Borris-Ileigh (B) who face the south representatives this Saturday in the County Under 15 Hurling semi-finals.
