Junior ‘A’ Hurling League: There will be two games taking place this Wednesday, 1st May in Group 1 as Ballinahinch host Nenagh Eire Og in Shalee whilst Kiladangan host Kilruane MacDonaghs in Puckane.

The third round fixtures see Kiladangan host Ballinahinch in Puckane this Sunday in Puckane whilst Nenagh Eire Og host Kilruane MacDonaghs on Tuesday.

In Group 2 - Borris-Ileigh hosted Toomevara on Tuesday 30th April with no result at time of going to print. The final game in the group takes place on Wednesday 8th May when Roscrea host Borris-Ileigh.

Junior ‘B’ Hurling League: Borrisokane had a comfortable 4-21 to 0-11 victory over neighbours Shannon Rovers last Wednesday in Group 2. Borrisokane led 2-8 to 0-8 at half time and remained comfortable throughout the second half.

Borrisokane were out in action again on Tuesday 30th April away to Lorrha in round 3 with no result at time of going to print. Ballinahinch host Shannon Rovers in Shalee on Monday 6th May.

In Group 1 - Kiladangan host Portroe this Friday in Puckane whilst Toomevara host Moneygall on Monday.

Both Group 3 games take place on Monday as Burgess host Templederry Kenyons in Kilcolman and Ballina host Newport.

Championship Draws: The North CCC will hold the North Hurling Championship Draws live on Wednesday 8th May at 8.00pm.

The draws will be held for the following competitions: Hibernian Inn Senior Hurling Championship; Savvy Kitchens Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship; Kelly’s of Fantane Intermediate Hurling Championship; The Watch Centre North Junior ‘A’ & ‘B’ Hurling Championships and the Ger Gavin U19 ‘A’ & ‘B’ Football & Hurling Championships.

Sympathy: The North Board wish to express sympathy to the family and friends of Danny McGrath who passed away on Wednesday whilst attending the Junior 'B' game between Templederry Kenyons and Newport. Danny was the ultimate club man with his beloved Templederry Kenyons and will be sadly missed by all within the GAA community within Tipperary. May he rest in peace.
