Kieran’s ‘Cherished Memories’ as he donates funds to Pieta

Congratulations and sincerest thanks to Kieran Boyle, who recently recorded a new album entitled ‘Cherished Memories’, in aid of Pieta House, Roscrea.

A cheque presentation of the proceeds of Kieran’s venture, which realised €2,610, took place in the Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh on Thursday, April 4 last.

Special thanks to Owen Geaney (Atlas White Studios, Benedine, Nenagh), for his professional services in mixing, engineering and producing Kieran’s CD, and also to relatives, friends and the wider community/commercial outlets, who generously supported Kieran and this worthy cause – it is very much appreciated.

These funds will go a long way as Pieta strives to ensure the best range of counselling and helpline services to its clients.

Over 2023 Pieta and Darkness into Light (DIL) delivered over 50,000 hours of intervention and bereavement counselling. The charity handled approximately 100,000 crisis calls and texts via its 24/7 helpline.

Pieta was involved in providing help to over 600 households devastated by the tragic loss of a loved one by suicide.

Over 100,000 DIL participants, throughout 14 countries across four continents, raised over €4.8 million in aid of Pieta.

This year’s DIL walk takes place in Nenagh and at venues all over the country on Saturday, May 11. Sign up for any of the events by visiting www.darknessintolight.ie
