Cloughjordan mast plan appealed

A plan to erect a 15m telecommunications mast beside St Michael's NS in Cloughjordan has been appealed to An Bord Pleanála.

Eircom Limited (t/a Eir) has conditional planning permission for a shrouded pole (of 16m overall height to top of lighting finials) together with antennas, dishes and associated telecommunications equipment at the Eir Exchange, Townfields. Ground level equipment cabinet, security fencing and removal of an existing 12m wooden pole are included in the plan.

A third party appeal has been lodged in the name of Board of Management, c/o Vivian Dooley. An Bord Pleanála is to decide on the case by July 8 next.
