Maura Kennedy’s exhibition runs until April 14.

New painting exhibition at Arts Centre

‘Enigma’, a collection of Maura Kennedy’s favourite works completed in the last few years, promises to be well worth a visit. Maura is a painter, a mature graduate of Limerick School of Art and Design. She works mainly in oils and acrylics on canvas and her paintings are to be found in many private and commercial collections all over Ireland, in the UK and the USA.

Maura believes in the power of colour and vitality to lift the spirit, having a positive effect on one’s mood and the atmosphere of a home or business premises. Each one is imbued with colour, energy and emotion, life itself! Some are hard to pin down, hence the name ‘Enigma’. It is up to the viewer to interpret their meaning. Many are abstract, but some works suggest landscape or seascape. I believe this reflects her innate love of nature and it appears spontaneously.

No booking is required, pop in and immerse yourself in vibrant, colourful art! The exhibition runs until April 14 at Nenagh Arts Centre.
