Allocations for Nenagh district road works

The Department of Transport has announced funding for the following infrastructural projects across the Nenagh Municipal District.

R445 - Birdhill village towards the roundabout (€300,000); R498 - road improvements at acute bend at Tyone, Nenagh (€55,000); L6165 - bridge improvements at Moanaha, Templederry (€85,000); L6067 - Carrow bridge improvements at Erinagh, Capparoe (€95,500); R498 - Latteragh regional road upgrade (€3,000,000); R503/R497 - completion of Kilcommon junction upgrade (€80,000); R494 - drainage improvements at O’Briens Lane, Ballina (€100,000).

Local councillor John Carroll last week welcomed these projects, which will benefit very many communities in both rural and urban parts of the Nenagh district:
