Go-ahead for Templemore houses

Tipperary Co Council has granted planning permission for a development of 36 dwelling units in Templemore.

Martin Bourke has received conditional permission for the construction of 22 two-storey semi-detached dwelling houses, 10 duplex apartments and four semi-detached bungalow houses at New Row. A new vehicular and pedestrian access, boundary treatments, landscaping and site services including a connection to public foul and surface water drainage system, are all included in the plan.

It is understood that agreement in principle has been made to transfer eight of the units to the council in accordance with Part V of the Planning and Development Act. Among the conditions of planning is a site-specific Japanese Knotweed management plan to determine the most appropriate management option to control or eradicate the invasive species from the site and the appropriate disposal of same.
