The senior team who began their league campaign at home to Waterford last weekend, will do the same in the championship on Saturday 25th May when they host the Deise who have won the last two All-Ireland championship games between the sides in the last two years.

In round 2 on Saturday, 1st June, Tipperary will make the long trip to Derry to take on the Ulster side for the first time at this level since 2016 after the Oak Leaf county won the intermediate title last year.

On Saturday, 8th June, Tipperary will host Antrim in round 3 in a repeat of last year’s All-Ireland quarter final which Denis Kelly’s charges won comprehensively at Croke Park.

There will be a weeks break before the championship resumes with round 4 on 22nd June with Tipp making the short trip to Limerick, before wrapping the group stage a week later with a mouth-watering home clash with Kilkenny.

The top team from the group progressed straight to semi-finals along with the winner of group 2 which contains All-Ireland champions Cork, Galway, Down, Wexford, Clare, & Dublin. The 2nd & 3rd placed in each group straight to quarter finals which will be played at Croke Park on the weekend of 6th & 7th July, as curtain-raisers to the All-Ireland Hurling semi-finals. The semi-finals will once again be played as a double-header at UPMC Nowlan Park, Kilkenny on Saturday 27th July with the final at Croke Park on Sunday 11th August.

The bottom team in each group may be relegated to the Intermediate championship for 2025.

2023 All-Ireland Premier Junior Championship runners-up, Tipperary will begin their quest to go one step further this year when they host Down in round 1 on Saturday 25th May, a likely double-header with the seniors’ clash with Waterford.

In round 2 on Saturday 1st June, Tipperary make the long trip to Tyrone, and two weeks later in round 3 face another long trip to Wicklow, before wrapping up the group stage at home to a strong Armagh side on Saturday 29th June.

Like the senior championship, the top team in the group goes straight to the semi-finals, along with the winner of group 2 which contains Laois, Roscommon, Cavan, Louth, Mayo, and Limerick.

The 2nd & 3rd placed teams in each group straight to quarter finals on Saturday 6th July, with the semi-finals fixed for Saturday 20th July, and the All-Ireland Final at Croke Park on Sunday 11th August.
