This is the first in-person Ennis Hospital Remembrance Service since 2019.

Ennis Hospital Remembrance Service

Ennis Hospital is hosting its annual remembrance service in St Joseph’s Church, Lifford Road, Ennis, this Friday, November 17, at 7pm, in memory of all patients who have died in the hospital in the past year.

This is the first Ennis Hospital Remembrance Service to be held in person since prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, and also the first time that the ceremony has been held off-site, at St Joseph’s Church.

The hospital’s End of Life Committee is inviting bereaved relatives and loved ones to attend the service, reflect, and find solace, strength and comfort in their loss.

The service includes readings and poems, and performances by Ennis Hospital Choir with their musical director Ms. Carol O’Neill

For those unable to attend in person; the Remembrance Service will be live-streamed and is available on ennisparish.com. To access the live-stream, simply click the ‘St Joseph’s Church Webcam button’, on the right of the Ennis parish screen.

The Ennis Hospital End of Life Committee would also like to remind people that a Bereavement Support Line is available in partnership with the Irish Hospice Foundation. This national Freephone service, which provides bereaved people with connection, comfort and support, is available on 1800-807077 , Monday to Friday, 10am-1pm.
