Fergus Costello, a “semi-legend”.

An evening of comic entertainment

The Thomas MacDonagh Museum in Cloughjordan is delighted to announce the next event on Friday, October 27.

The Live and Local After Hours programme continues in October at the Thomas MacDonagh Museum with the arrival of Fergus Costello.

Fergus Costello is an authentic and original spoken word artist without equal. An acknowledged phenomenal force of nature, he is fondly regarded as a semi-legend and unofficial spokesperson by the discombobulated, lost and confused tribes of this world. This event will see Fergus looking at the world and how confusing it can be, sharing his view and how he copes with it, enchanting and transforming audiences with his inter-psychic entertainment. Expect songs and storytelling but not as we know them!

Words alone cannot prepare the uninitiated for the Fergus Costello experience but some have tried:

Catch this anomaly live and marvel at being transported by a master magic maker and afterwards, for the craic, debate with your friends: “Exactly, in what bizarre alternative universe, does that person reside?”

The events are made possible by a grant under the Night-Time Economy Initiative of the Department of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.
