Damage to garda vehicles

Two damage incidents involving garda vehicles in the last week have resulted in prosecution.

Damage was caused to a window of a patrol car at Main St, Roscrea, in the early hours of Wednesday of last week. A male suspect was later arrested and charged with criminal damage.

A separate incident occurred on Friday when an attempt was made to damage a garda vehicle parked at Kickham St, Nenagh. A male suspect has been arrested and charged.

A further incident of criminal damage is under investigation at St Conlon's Road, Nenagh, where the windows of parked machinery were broken. It is believed that stones were thrown at the machines in the early hours of Friday morning. Gardaí are appealing for witness information.
