Junior 'C' Hurling Championship

In Group 1, a late flurry of scores from Ballina earned a 1-11 to 0-14 draw against Kiladangan last Monday in Puckane.

The last group game will take place this Saturday 30th September where Ballina will host Burgess at 4.00pm.

In Group 2, Borris-Ileigh had a 2-12 to 2-9 victory at home to Lorrha last Saturday whilst Silvermines picked up the points away to Kilruane MacDonaghs last Sunday - where they were victorious 1-13 to 0-13.

Round 3 fixtures will be played this weekend. On Saturday, Kilruane MacDonaghs will host Borris-Ileigh in Cloughjordan at 3.30pm whilst on Sunday, Silvermines host Lorrha in Dolla at 4.00pm.

The two teams in each group qualify for the semi-finals with the top placed team having home advantage.

The 'A' Final between Toomevara and Borris-Ileigh scheduled for last Sunday was postponed due to a death in the Toomevara club. Keep an eye on the North Tipperary GAA social media pages for full re-fixture details.

The 'B' Final between Borrisokane and Lorrha Rovers takes place this Saturday at 10.30am in Roscrea.

County Championships

Toomevara and Kiladangan will face each other in the County Senior Hurling Semi-Final this Sunday 1st October at 3.30pm in Semple Stadium.

Kilruane MacDonaghs will face Upperchurch/Drombane this Sunday at 1.00pm in Dolla in the Senior Relegation semi-final.

In Premier Intermediate, Lorrha had a 1-20 to 2-15 victory over Clonakenny in the County quarter final. They will face Cashel King Cormacs this Saturday at 2.30pm in Toomevara in the semi-final.

There will be an all-North tie in the Premier Intermediate Relegation Final as Portroe and Newport face off this Saturday at 1.30pm in Nenagh.

In Intermediate, Moneygall face Boherlahan-Dualla this Saturday at 12.30pm in Templetuohy in the County semi-final.

Kiladangan face Upperchurch/Drombane in the Intermediate Relegation Final. This game will take place this Saturday at 3.30pm in Templederry.

In the Junior 'A' semi-final, Ballinahinch face Holycross/Ballycahill this Saturday at 2.30pm in Annacarty.

The quarter finals of the County Junior 'B' Hurling Championship takes place this weekend. Knockshegowna will face Cappawhite on Saturday at 1.30pm in Borrisoleigh whilst on Sunday, Moneygall face Solohead at 4.00pm in Newport.

Turning attention to football - Ballina lost to a strong Clonmel Commercials last Saturday in the County Senior quarter final. In the Junior 'A' Football quarter finals, Kiladangan lost to Sean Treacys whilst Roscrea face Arravale Rovers this Friday at 8.00pm in Drombane.

County Under 17 Hurling

Congratulations to Portroe who claimed the County Under 17 'C' Hurling title last weekend after defeating Kilruane MacDonaghs 3-9 to 1-7 in the final.

Newport has a 1-15 to 0-8 win over Cahir last weekend in the County Under 17 'B' Hurling semi-final. They will face Moycarkey/Borris in the Final this Saturday at 5.00pm in Clonoulty.
