Watch Centre Junior 'A' Hurling Championship

The final of North Junior 'A' Hurling Championship is scheduled to take place this Saturday 2nd September at 5.00pm in Templederry where Ballinahinch will face Roscrea. Peter Carroll will officiate.

Ballinahinch will be looking for their seventh title having won the competition previously in 1971, 1980, 1992, 1994, 2001 & 2002. Roscrea are just one behind Ballinahinch in the roll of honour, having won the competition five times - 1930, 1942, 1946, 1982 & 1986.

Congratulations to Knockshegowna who claimed the Dan Gleeson Cup for the first time in their history after a 1-13 to 0-14 victory over Moneygall last Friday in Borrisokane. See the match report for full details of the game.

Junior 'C' Hurling Championship

will commence this weekend. There are seven teams taking part and are broken into two groups - one group of three and one group of four.

In Group 1, Burgess will host Kiladangan this Sunday 3rd September at 6.00pm in Kilcolman whilst Ballina have a bye in Round 1.

Group 2's fixtures will both take place this Saturday 2nd September at 6.00pm - Lorrha host Kilruane MacDonaghs whilst Silvermines host Borris-Ileigh in Dolla.

Ger Gavin Under 19 'A' Hurling Championship

The semi-finals of the North U19 'A' Hurling Championship take place this Wednesday 30th August at 7.00pm.

Ballina host Borris-Ileigh with Ciaran O'Donovan refereeing whilst Nenagh Eire Og host Toomevara with Tom McGlinchey the man in the middle.

Ger Gavin Under 19 'B' Hurling Championship

The quarter finals of the North U19 'B' Hurling Championship took place last Wednesday which saw impressive away victories for Silvermines and Kiladangan. Silvermines had a 3-13 to 0-15 win over Burgess in Kilcolman, whilst in Lorrha, Kiladangan had a 2-23 to 2-15 victory over Lorrha Rovers.

The semi-finals will take place this Wednesday 30th August at 7.00pm; Kilruane MacDonaghs host Kiladangan in Cloughjordan whilst Moneygall/Clonakenny host Silvermines in Moneygall.

The North CCC have scheduled the U19 ‘A’ & ‘B’ Hurling Finals for this Sunday 3rd September. Venue(s) and Times to be confirmed once the finalists are confirmed. It is hoped to hold a double header with Clubber to televise both finals.

WATCH CENTRE UNDER 13 HURLING FINALS

The 'A', 'C' and 'D' finals take place this Saturday 2nd September in Dolla whilst the 'B' final takes place in Templederry on Sunday 3rd September.

In the 'D' final, Kilruane MacDonaghs face Toomevara at 11.00am. The 'C' final sees neighbours Ballinahinch and Templederry Kenyons face off at 12 noon whilst the 'A' Final sees another class of neighbours with Nenagh Eire Og facing Kilruane MacDonaghs at 1.00pm.

Kiladangan and Silvermines meet on Sunday at 11.00am in Templederry in the 'B' Final.
