Tipp Boil Water Notice not related to industrial action

Following consultation with the Health Service Executive (HSE), Uisce Éireann and Tipperary County Council have issued a Boil Water Notice to protect the health of approximately 11,379 consumers supplied by the Galtee Regional Public Water Supply.

This is necessary due to increased turbidity impacting the treatment processes at the water treatment plant. The issue is not related to the current industrial action.

The notice impacts all areas on the Galtee Regional Public Water Supply including Emly, Lattin, Ballinard, Cullen, Ballywire, Kilross, Limerick Junction, Monard, Lisvarnane, Rosadrehid, Bansha, Tankerstown, Kilfeacle, Golden, Cashel, Rosegreen, New Inn and surrounding areas.
