Nominations open for Irish Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards

The 2023 Irish Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards will take place in the Keadeen Hotel in Newbridge, County Kildare on Monday 16 October.

Nominations for the Irish Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards 2023 supported by Godolphin, open on Monday 3 July for six weeks.

Nominations can be made online at www.itiea.org and offer €62,000 in prize money along with beautifully crafted Ani Mollereau trophies.

The awards, sponsored by Godolphin since 2015, recognise and showcase the skills, experience and dedication of the hardworking women and men in the thoroughbred breeding and racing industry. Friends, colleagues, and employers of those working in stud farms and racing yards are encouraged to nominate as many people as possible.

There are seven Irish Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards along with a Newcomer Award. All eight winners are eligible for the Irish Racing Excellence Award, which will be announced at the awards ceremony. In addition, the Racecourse Award winner, chosen by the Irish Stable Staff Association, will also be revealed on the awards night.

Nominations are open until 5pm on Monday 14 August and must be completed online at www.itiea.org

Sandra Hughes, Godolphin’s Irish Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards Ambassador, will be visiting racing yards and stud farms and attending race meetings and bloodstock sales in the coming weeks to encourage as many nominations as possible.
