Network Ireland Tipperary Awards

Successful fundraiser on the night for Shona Project

What an exciting time it has been for the Network Ireland Tipperary branch who had their Network Tipperary business awards ceremony in the Anner Hotel, Thurles, recently.

What a fantastic night it was, with some incredible winners from the following categories: Solo Business Woman of The Year, Leanne Healy Price of Holistic Healing & Happiness; Established Business Woman of The Year, Mary Quinlan of Mary Quinlan Hair; Creative Business Woman of The Year, Fashion Designer, Heidi Higgins; Networker of The Year, Geraldine Jones of Skin Formulas; Emerging Business Woman of The Year, Sophia Seymore of Wild Meadow Florals; Employee Rising Star, Breda O’Donnell of FBD, and Employee Shining Star, Katie Murphy of Cashel Palace Hotel.

Congratulations to all finalists and winners, who were all extremely deserving and we would like to wish all winners the best of luck as they go forward to the Network Ireland National Awards on Friday, September 29 in Lawlor’s Hotel, Naas.

We would like to offer a huge thank you to our President Joanne Herily who did a fantastic job in organising the night, our judging panel, Mary Ryan of Tipperary Local Enterprise Office, Barbara Dunne, Manager of Tipperary Town AIB and Shannon Forrest, Co-Founder of Rívesci, as well as our branch partner, Tipperary Local Enterprise Board, and our national partner, AIB, for their continued support.

FUNDRAISER

We would also like to thank our charity sponsor, The Shona Project and Tammy Darcy, founder of the project, who did an incredible job of MC on the night. Thanks to generous donations from local and network businesses, we are delighted to confirm that the fundraiser on the night raised €1,398 for the Shona Project, which will fund four workshops of up to 100 girls at a time in the new academic year of 2023/2024. These workshops help to educate, empower and inspire Irish girls to become tomorrow's strong, resilient and confident young women.

There really are so many benefits of joining the Network Ireland Tipperary branch, as it not only provides female business owners with networking opportunities, but offers a range of helpful talks, events and business mentorships to name a few.
