NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council proposes to make an Order closing:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED:

M7 Junction 26

Closure 1 – Eastbound Off-Slip at M7 J26 (Tullamore/Borrisokane/Nenagh)

Closure 2 – Tullaheady Roundabout, Nenagh (at Junction 26 off the M7)

M7 Junction 25

Closure 3 – Eastbound Off-Slip at M7 J25 (Nenagh/knockalton/Thurles)

Closure 4 – Eastbound On-Slip at M7 J25 (Nenagh/knockalton/Thurles)

Closure 5 – Westbound Off-Slip at M7 J25 (Nenagh/knockalton/Thurles)

Closure 6 – Westbound On-Slip at M7 J25 (Nenagh/knockalton/Thurles)

Closure 7 – R498 between Eastbound Off-Slip and Eastbound On-Slip Roundabouts

Closure 8 – L-5137 at the junction with R498 (Dublin Rd)

PERIOD OF CLOSURE:

M7 Junction 26

No more than 10 days at each location from 20:00hrs to 06:00hrs during the period

(Sunday 25 June 2023 to Friday 04 August 2023)

M7 Junction 25

No more than 20 days at each location from 20:00hrs to 06:00hrs during the period.

(Sunday 25 June 2023 to Friday 04 August 2023)

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:

M7 Junction 26

Closure 1: Traffic will continue on the M7 Eastbound to and exit at J25 (Knockalton/Nenagh/Thurles), and re-join the M7 Westbound to M7 J26 (Tullamore/ Borrisokane/ Nenagh).

Closure 2:

Diversion 1: N52, L-6059-7 (Kilcolman), L-6050 (Kilcolman)

Diversion 2: L-6050 (Kilcoleman), L-6059-5 (Kilcolman), N52

M7 Junction 25

Closure 3: M7 Eastbound to J24 (Nenagh), M7 Westbound to J25 (Nenagh)

Closure 4: M7 Westbound to J26 (Nenagh), M7 Eastbound

Closure 5: M7 Westbound to J26 (Nenagh), M7 Eastbound to J25 (Nenagh)

Closure 6: M7 Eastbound to J24 (Nenagh), M7 Westbound

Closure 7: Diversion 1: L5137, R445 (Dublin Rd) to M7 J24

Diversion 2: R498, R497 (Pearse St), R445 (Dublin Rd) to M7 J24

Closure 8: Diversion 1: R445 (Dublin Rd) to M7 J24, M7 Eastbound to J25

Diversion 2: R445 (Dublin Rd), R497 (Pearse St), R498 to J25

REASON FOR CLOSURE:

To carry out pavement works.
