Borrisokane Community College news

Junk Kouture

Congratulations to ‘Malwear’, who represented Borrisokane Community College in the Dublin city Finals of Junk Kouture. Cóilín and Mikey put in a tremendous amount of work getting their design ready, represented the school on 2FM and put in a fantastic performance on the night. We didn’t make to the World Finals but we are very proud of Malwear and Ms Forde.

Erasmus Job Shadowing

We were delighted to welcome our visiting teachers from Norway and Lithuania this week. These teachers observed our STEAM subjects and shared ideas from their schools. The partnership with schools from across Europe provides many opportunities for staff and students.

Well done to our Third Year students Ava, Abigail, Silvia, Ellie and Gemma, who raised €330 for Sustainability in the school. Thanks to everyone who baked and brought in treats for this fundraiser.

Turas Club na nÓg

Chuaigh na daltaí chuig Inis Oirr inné ar thuras lae. Fuair siad rothar ar cíos agus labhair siad as Gaeilge don lá ar fad, níos mó ná sin chuala siad go léir an ghaeilge agus í beo beathach! Is beatha teanga í a labhairt.
