Springfort Meadows site where planning permission has been granted for 18 houses.

Nenagh housing plan appealed

A plan to add a further 18 residential units to Nenagh's Springfort Meadows estate has been appealed to An Bord Pleanála.

Singland Homes Limited is seeking to build 18 two-storey residential units in the estate. These are to be organised into six terraces consisting of one four-bed dwelling, 10 three-bed dwellings and seven two-bed dwellings. All ancillary site works, including car parking, site boundary, drainage and site services, are included in the plan.

Tipperary Co Council granted conditional planning permission for the development last month, despite receiving several objections from local residents. A third party appeal has now been made in the name of Patrick Devenny.

An Bord Pleanála is to decide on the case by August 29.
