Two of the youngest models on the ramp at the fashion show fundraiser at the Community Centre, Newport.The fashion extravaganza fundraiser in aid of Newport Day Centre development programme excelled beyond the expectations of the organisers.
There was a capacity attendance at the Community Centre, Newport, for the wide selection of fashion wear modelled by the glamorous models from Hilary Thompson's Modelling Agency, Ballina, who were supported by some local celebrity male models and the younger set, who were equally at home under the spotlights on the red carpet.
Mary Cuneen, from Clyduff, Lisnagry, took home the coveted top prize of the night awarded for the Best Dressed Lady, while the Lisdoon’ Matchmaking duo from the recent Musical Society Show were the tops for entertainment on the night.
MC for the evening was Finbarr O'Shea, Chairman, Newport Care Centre Committee, who thanked the gathering for their support and all who had helped with the organising of the event.
