There are lots of laughs in Kate Kerrigan's show at Nenagh Arts Centre on Saturday.

One-woman funny show at Arts Centre

‘Am I Irish Yet?’ is a one-woman, funny show chronicling the life of Kate Kerrigan, a New York Times bestselling author who began her career as an editor for Just Seventeen magazine. After spending her childhood in London in the 1980s as the ‘Bombing Irish’ to some and a ‘Plastic Paddy’ to others, she moved to her parent’s native Ireland in the 90s where she became a full-time author. Thirty-five years on, with an Irish husband and children and a career as an Irish author, Kate brings the wisdom and wit of her award-winning writing to audiences in person for the first time, to whom she asks, ‘Am I Irish Yet?’.

‘Am I Irish Yet?’ is part of Circus250’s Daring Dames series, reflecting their commitment to developing and touring exciting new work by fierce women. Join us at Nenagh Arts Centre on April 22.

We offer you a wonderful, two hours long workshop with this amazing writer (starts at 2pm) together with her fantastic show ‘Am I Irish Yet?’ at 7.30pm to follow. All that for only €25!
