Killaloe hosts local art exhibition

Tipperary artist and curator Trish Taylor Thompson is delighted to announce the return of the St Flannan’s Cathedral Local Artist’s Art Exhibition.

The exhibition will be officially opened by Deborah Dudgeon, member of the Select Vestry of St. Flannan’s on Thursday, February 23, at 6pm. All are welcome.

Featuring both amateur and professional artists from the locality, this inclusive exhibition has become an integral part of the art scene in the region.

The art exhibition, organised by Trish Taylor Thompson, will feature over seventy artists from the region including sculptors, painters, photographers, an iron makers and an antiques restorer. “There is no end to the artistic talent in Killaloe and the surrounding hinterland. The unique art works that will be exhibited are inspirational.”

St Flannan’s Cathedral welcomes art lovers to view the paintings throughout the weekend. The exhibition runs from Friday to Sunday, February 23 to 26. You are cordially invited to the official opening this Thursday, February 23, at 6pm.
