Club Fixtures schedule confirmed for 2023

The Competitions Controls Committee of Tipperary County Board have confirmed their fixtures calendar for the 2023 season.

The schedule is broadly similar to last year with the club season beginning on the weekend of 19th March with the first round of the adult hurling leagues which will have five rounds of games run every second weekend, up to the finals in each division on 11th June.

The football leagues will be played on every other weekend, starting on 26th March, up to finals on 26th June.

The group stages of the FBD Insurance County Hurling Championships in senior, premier intermediate and intermediate will begin on the weekend of 30th July, a week later than last year as the All-Ireland Hurling Final has been put back a week to 23rd

July.

The hurling and football championships will run every second weekend, with all hurling finals fixed for the weekend of 15th October, with the football finals a week later.

The scheduling of the divisional hurling championship at senior, premier intermediate and intermediate have yet to be determined as they depend on Tipperary’s progress in the inter-county championships.

County Hurling Championships: 30-31 July – Round 1; 12-13 August – Round 2, 26-27 August – Round 3; 9-10 September – Preliminary quarter finals; 16-17 September – quarter finals; 30 September/1 October – semi-finals; 14-15 October - Finals

County Football Championships: 5-6 August - Round 1; 19-20 August – Round 2; 2-3 September – Round 3; 23-24 September – quarter finals; 7-8 October – semi-finals; 21-22 October – Finals.
